In late fall of 2020, the wife and some friends asked me to make a few things to help them with their cross stitching. So, the First pattern stand was built; then I was asked to make something to cut floss all the same length, boom, The Floss Winder was born. Now the quilters have got a hold of me and now we are building Tailor's Clappers. Scissor Holders are now available on the site, your choices are the same as the clappers or in block style. An you all asked so you now have spool holders available!

Each piece is is hand crafted. NO CNC here, everything made here is with standard and old world equipment. Each piece is hand made, hand sanded, and hand filed. All the lumber is cut locally, milled at an Amish saw mill, air dried for months to years, and planed and shaped by myself. NO store bought lumber in this shop, all local, ALL Kentucky!
I create pieces you can enjoy for years to come. If you ever encounter a design flaw or craftsmanship issue, I will fix or replace the piece at my cost. I'm also always available to help you you maintain the look of your wood and provide you with touch up support if needed.

Chart and IPad stand / 6" wide, 10" long, 7" tall with needle magnet (with or without IPad pegs or a spool scissor holder (1.50 extra for each for either the Pegs and/or Spool) Stain of your choice and clear coated in your choice of lacquer (satin, semigloss, or gloss)
Red oak, White oak, Maple, Cherry, Black Walnut, Cedar, or Hickory.
Added to the front edge of the chart stand to prevent a IPad from slipping off
A medium wooden spool that is attached behind the stand to hold your scissors or thread cutoffs (specify small or large opening)
Horn books are built to your dimensions / hardwood horn books also available

Clean wood shavings & Dust from the planer
The saw dust/shavings come directly from a closed loop dust collection system. All shavings are a mixture of hardwoods and cedar. (some dust will be in the mix, its mostly fine shavings)
The go big or go home box of saw dust shavings, only available in the mixed saw dust version
Clappers are made to order. 6", 8", 10", and 12" available. Made from only hardwoods (Maple, Hickory, Cherry, White Oak, Black Walnut). Can be made as one wood type or in a combination of woods, i.e. Maple outer / Black Walnut inner. The scissor holders can be made from any wood or combination of woods including ash, red oak, and cedar. (available in 8" or longer only)

Scissor holders are made to order. 8", 10", and 12" available. Made from hardwoods and softwoods (Maple, Hickory, Cherry, White Oak, Black Walnut, red oak, cedar and poplar). Can be made as one wood type or in a combination of woods, i.e. Maple outer / Black Walnut inner. The scissor holders can be made from any wood or combination of woods
(available in 8" or longer only)

New to the site is Spool holders for your 100/3 or similar spools. These will hold 24 spools on a three tier system. Right now they are available in Black Walnut, Red Oak, Cherry Spauled Maple, Maple, White Oak, and Cedar. More wood choices to follow!
